...Still mocking us

And they are a little right, they are faster. Only 400 days (it looks far away), but it has been so that they could not catch up.

They are getting nice folders for MozillaZine, that are using Ff and we could use them.

Can we make on our site a few cool links about folding, and promote our cause?
You can even link to Mozilla folding inferior webpage...
Can we run a campaign on mozzila europe, and moznetwork dot org, and sfx?

lets do it lets fold us into top 50 and away from MozillaZine.
btw they took away my 4th computer at the lab (sorry)

Firefox 1.0.4 omfg

I love 1.0.4, just thought you should know.

You can get it over at http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-aviary1.0.1/ I am personally using the 5 May 2005 build. It is *rock* solid.

They should go ahead and release it, imho.

Be sure to check out the Essential SEO Firefox extensions page of my new site too!

Another IE bug

Today I created a testcase on an IE bug I discovered this weekend (see the attachment). Fortunately there is also a fix available, which works OK and isn't really messy to other browsers when putting it in an IE conditional comment (it involves adding a form element).

New site

Finally I have had some time to work on the site again. I want to create totally new and better site, still based on Drupal/CivicSpace (so content won't get lost).

My current plans are (subject to change some time):

  • A new theme, probably based on FriendsElectric;
  • A banner campaign, where people can place banners for the team on their site and in signatures;
  • More work on the customized installer;
  • And most important, create a site which is better for everyone: new people will be able to find information about the team quicklier, and the people in the team will be able to communicate even easier.

Any more ideas in anyone's mind? I'd like to hear them.

Firefox and Roaming Profiles HOWTO

Roaming Profiles are where you take your user configuration and stick it on a remote server, so that no matter what computer on a LAN you use, your settings are exactly the same. And I've figured out how to do it with Firefox. Yes, that's right. You never have to be without your Web Developer and HTML Tidy extensions — much less your Pimpzilla Theme — ever again! Even when troubleshooting someone else's computer :o

Installation-Free Mozilla Firefox CD

Installation-Free Mozilla Firefox CD - [mozillaZine]

Haven't tried it yet but it seems promising. I might actually get it for using at school, where there's no Firefox. There are some cons about this though, for example that your bookmarks aren't saved. And you need a CD Player, and at our school 90% of them don't work (people took out the elastic bands around the wheels that are used to open the tray).

Anyway, here are some Dijjer links to the LiveCD:
