SuSE and Cygwin
I use SuSE on one computer, and Linux-on-Windows via Cygwin on my laptop. I don't know what I'd do without Linux :-)

Sure!
Yep, I use Gentoo, but I run Windows XP Pro as well. I don't really have a preference, I use them fifty-fifty. Some people may think Gentoo is difficult but, since it was my first operational linux OS, I don't think that is true, mainly because of the good handbook.

Same for me.
Same for me.
My vote goes for the "Sure!"
My vote goes for the "Sure!" option, even though I don't use Linux as my OS of choice, mainly because of hardware compatibility. Still I have 2 distros (a stable SuSE install and another distro changing time to time, just to try) installed on my pc and at university I always use linux (RH9) even on dual-boot machines. In the department there are also some Sun/Solaris machines, which I learned to use a little, too; even though those are quite old machines, I can feel Solaris as very powerful OS.
