For those with older machines, try adding -advmethods to your client's configuration (then restart). This takes advantage of projects 4534-4599 as noted from their General Projects page.

Using this over the past week or so, has helped me to gain more points than usual with my AMD 64 X2 4200+ system. It will be two years old in a few months.
