Totally Private Email
Submitted by HopeSeekr of xMule on Sun, 2005-03-13 00:58.Very few people realize how utterly public the standard email message is, especially non-web-based email. If you use a program like Outlook, every time you check your mail you send your username and password -- unencrypted -- over the Internet.
In an age of rampant crime, crumbling empires, and increasing fascism, it is essential that close-knit groups form trust+privacy circles by adopting scientifically validated encryption rings as a stopgap to wanton attacks on both one's privacy and due process.
MozNetwork
Submitted by RobinMonks on Fri, 2005-03-11 20:35.I just like to mention that MozNetwork now has it's own homepage at MozDev. We are also looking for good graphics designers, PHP programmers and web developers to keep designing new projects (like the recently completed MozFeeds).
I'd also like to personaly thank praseodymium for creating the largest (that I know of) @home system for Mozilla users. Congrats to all!
Keep spreading the fire!

I actually discovered that yesterday noon when I was browsing through Google Labs at school. Quite cool I think, although I can't try it as I just messed up my Windows install.
Spam!?
Submitted by praseodymium on Sat, 2005-03-05 18:50.This is weird.. I just got spam on the spreadthefox.net catchall email account! Too bad.. but it also means that the site is getting more popular ;-).
To help the fight against spammers, we're supporting Project Honey Pot with a honey pot on this site and by having donated an MX entry.

Submitted by HopeSeekr of xMule on Thu, 2005-03-03 15:29.In a weird twist of coincidence + good timing, as of now (9:26AM CST (UTC -6) on 3 March 05) my Folding@Home score is exactly 39299; the same as the FireFox Folding@Home TeamID.
Check it out -- fast! -- before it changes!
